Privacy Policy
Data collection
The Sleep Timer Android app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The timer state, countdown duration, and notification preferences exist only in memory while the app is running.
Permissions
The app requests the following Android permissions solely to deliver its core functionality:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS – required by Android 13+ to display the foreground notification while the timer runs.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE – keeps the countdown alive when the screen is off so media can be paused on time.
- WAKE_LOCK / AUDIO_FOCUS – ensures volume changes and pause signals reach the media session.
No other device capabilities are accessed.
Third-party services
Sleep Timer does not integrate analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or external APIs. All logic runs locally on your device.
Children's privacy
The app is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Updates
If the privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision.
